With only a couple of days left before Take Back the Night 2011, we’re finishing up our last minute chores and getting excited! We’re also taking a minute to reflect on all of the people who help to make Take Back the Night happen.
So many people from diverse communities within Waterloo Region have stepped up to make this year’s Take Back the Night spectacular! All of the support we’ve received fills our hearts with such immense joy!

- CAW Local 1106! We love unions! Thank you to CAW Local 11o6 for donating $1000 to Take Back the Night 2011! These funds make it possible for us to organize an engaging, accessible event and call for and end to violence against women, trans folks, and children!

- Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region! Thank you to SASC for providing Take Back the Night with logistical support! These folks provide the planning committee with meeting space, they manage our funds, they provide lots of staff support… Take Back the Night’s 31 years of strength have been made possible in large part due to SASC’s sustained support!
